Supporting Entrepreneurs in North-East India
STAR SAMARTH has been initiated in Assam to support the budding entrepreneurs of North-East India thus to ease their journey towards self-sustainability in various livelihood sectors. The initiative supports potential entrepreneurs, providing a comprehensive chain of assistance from documentation to business setup. The difference between a job holder and entrepreneur is one person consumes one job whereas one entrepreneur creates four jobs plus frees one position which he would have occupied if he would have looks for a job thus creating five job opportunities.
Apart from doing documentation, technology, innovation, bank linkage, sales and sustainability are key factors for successful business set up. Mentors from different field like Industry, Banking, Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship and Finance Sectors are extending their supports towards making the vision into reality.
